Community Vitality Partners
The Richmond, Danville & Drummondville area CLC (Richmond Regional High School, St. Francis Elementary, A.D.S. Elementary School and Drummondville Elementary School) work in partnership with the CIUSSS de l’Estrie-CHUS, ValFamille, CDC Des Sources and Townshippers’ Association on a collective project, known as “Partners for the Vitality of the English-Speaking Community of the Val-Saint-François and Des Sources”. Its goal is to make a collective impact on the health and well-being of the English-speaking community by ensuring greater access to health, social services and community resources in English in the Val-Saint-François and des Sources communities, as well as promoting the involvement of citizens and building links between them. The project received financial contributions from CIUSSS-de-l’Éstrie CHUS through the CHSSN funding by Health Canada, under the Action plan for official languages in Canada, and Valfamille.
OUR VITAL COMMUNITY micro-grants (of up to $500) aims to encourage citizens and community organizations to realize projects, actions and activities that support the health and wellness of the English-speaking population in the MRCs of Val-Saint-François and/or Des Sources.
OUR VITAL COMMUNITY micro-grants are administered by the Partners for the Vitality of the English-speaking community of the Val-Saint-François. Successful recipients will be supported in their projects by the Richmond, Danville and Drummondville area CLC Coordinators.
The next call for project submissions is currently open or projects that will take place before March 2022. Projects will be considered on an on-going basis until all the available funding has been allocated.
