Cellphone Policy – June 2025
As announced by Education Minister Bernard Drainville in May, starting in the 2025–2026 school year, students will be required to keep their cell phones in their lockers from the beginning of the first class to the end of the last class (8:50 a.m. – 3:10 p.m.).
Cell phone use will not be permitted during the noon hour.
Please find below a link to the RRHS Cell Phone Policy, which will take effect in August 2025.

Summer School & Exam Retakes
Please find below information regarding available summer classes and exam retakes.
Cycle 1 – School Success Academy
School Success Academy will be offering virtual revision courses for Cycle I students who need to reinforce their learning in Math, English, and French. The Sessions will take place over 2 weeks and will cost $170. For more information, please consult the following Flyer.
Please also keep in kind that the parents of any cycle I student required to repeat the year will be contacted by administration during the week of June 23rd.
Cycle 2 – Learn Quebec
LEARN Quebec will be offering virtual summer classes for students who were unsuccessful in achieving a passing grade in the following courses:
Secondary 3 – English, Math, French, History or Science
Secondary 4 – ELA and French
Secondary 4 – Science, History (Tutorials in preparation for retake exams)
Secondary 5 – ELA & FSL (Tutorials in preparation for retake exams)
The Sessions will take place over a 2-week period and will cost $170.

Summer Exam Retakes Calendar (Sec 4 & 5)
Please click here for a copy of the summer exam retake calendar (PDF copy attached). Students wishing to retake an exam must sign up via the following link. Students do not need to take a summer class in order to retake an exam. You will receive immediate confirmation when you complete your registration. Please validate that you have signed up for the right exams. All exams will be written in Magog at the school board office ( 340, Saint-Jean-Bosco Street, Magog). Please also note that Secondary 4 & 5 students who fail Ministry classes will be contacted by the school administration to discuss the summer school options mentioned above during the week of June 30th.

Richmond Regional High School is situated in the town of Richmond. We receive new students from three Elementary schools every year: ADS, St. Francis Elementary School and Drummondville Elementary School. We also welcome eligible students from French elementary and private schools.
